WordPress Skeleton

Setup a new WordPress installation via Composer, (*1)

Requirements

PHP 5.6+, (*2)

Prerequisites

Install Composer, (*3)

Installation

$ composer create-project wpscholar/wp-skeleton {directory}

Replace {directory} above with the folder name of your new project., (*4)

Configuration

Open up the .env file and edit your database credentials. The default file is designed to work with Local., (*5)

Reminder

Don't forget to:, (*6)

  • Customize the readme.md file for your project
  • Update the project's meta data in the composer.json file.
