Requirements

  • PHP 5.6+
  • CakePHP 3.4+

Installation

You can install this plugin into your CakePHP application using composer., (*4)

The recommended way to install composer packages is:, (*5)

composer require --dev cakedc/mixer

Ensure Mixer Plugin is loaded in your config/bootstrap.php file, (*6)

if (Configure::read('debug')) {
    Plugin::load('CakeDC/Mixer', ['bootstrap' => true, 'routes' => true]);
}

Now you can navigate to your app /mixer URL and start discovery and managing your plugins! It searches through all packages on Packagist with type "cakephp-plugin" excluding CakePHP 2.x packages., (*7)

Attention: we don't want you to use Mixer in production. That's why we're asking to add it to require-dev composer.json section and it will only work when debug is on., (*8)
